This post will have tonsssss of photos. We have just been hanging out. I've been experiencing some major energetic shifts in my life lately...major... thoughts about my future, raising Kay...love, laughter..you name it.. it's been on my mind.
Do some damn cardio!!!!
Now that I have that off my chest, let me talk about what I've been making. Smoothie city over here... Green ones, fruit ones, frozen blends, no ice blends. I'm going totally crazy right now.
Today I actually ate some delicious Thai Food for lunch while out with my dear dear goddess soul sister Holly. It was spicy and wonderful...then for dinner had another fruit meal of about 1200 calories. I know you must be thinking, "This bitch is CRAZZZZZZZZYYYYYY. I eat 1200 cals a day!"...well not me. Whenever I am working out and truly LIVING my life, I eat as much fruit as I can stand and at least ONE MAJOR GREEN SMOOTHIE PER DAY. I mean tonssssssss of greens in my smoothie.
If you want to count every calorie (everyday) and feel deprived and not have enough energy to chase your kids, or exercise...then eat 1200 mealsy, diet, meals-in-a-box kinda meal plan. If you want vibrant health and crazy sexy vitality..wait for it: EAT PLANTS AND MOVE YOUR ASS! I think I just might change the title of my ebook (coming soon) to that very thing. Yup, it's settled. That is my ebook's title.
It's simple people. Raw or cooked??? EAT PLANTS. Eat shit that grew in nature. Eat shit that your grandmother would recognize. Eat things with ONE ingredient. And eat tons of em til you're full. EVERYDAY.
"But Jayna', I can't cook. I could never eat that much fruit. I can't afford that kind of diet. What will I cook anyway"...blah blah blah
Trust me. If you want a body you are proud of and sick insane crazy health. Eat plants: fruits, fruits, fruits, fresh juice, green smoothies, water, water, water. Going cooked? Eat oatmeal, sweet potatoes, beans, beans, beans, brown rice, quinoa, steamed veggies, soups, stews...And then MOVE YOUR ASS: dance to the Wii, turn on your radio and shake your ass around the kitchen, play tag with the kids/grandkids, do a workout dvd from the library, check out the amazing programs I love at Beach Body. Join a gym, ask for a 7 day free pass, walk with your girlfriends in the neighborhood. If you want health..it's yours. Which leads me to my last point for today:
Decide to be healthy. Period. Point blank. DECIDE.
If you want to be fat, unhealthy, lethargic, and a chronic complainer...you will be.
If you want to be fit, lean, vibrant, positive and happy...you will be.
It's that simple. Make a choice.
